Agile PM Online Roundtable
2nd Thursday of the month
In this virtual event, Agile Project Managers, Agile Facilitators, Scrum Masters, and others gather to discuss all things project, program, and portfolio related. The format is a roundtable discussion facilitated by experienced Agile PM’s and instructors in the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner prep program.
Lean Coffee in the North
3rd Sunday of the month
Hosted at Percipio Consulting near the river in NE Portland, a democratically created agenda guides Agile-inspired conversation over coffee, tea, or a beverage of your choice. Discussion is fun and productive as it flows naturally through the Lean Coffee format.
Downtown Pub Lunch
1st Friday of the month
At the McMenamins Ringlers Pub downtown, everyone is invited to engage in conversation about a fresh agile theme. The Downtown Pub Lunch is about good food, good drinks, and a welcoming community.
Virtual Pub Lunch
2nd Friday of the month
Held on a Zoom conference line, this agile lunch discussion is a collaborative effort between Seattle and Portland agile minds but we’re hoping it won’t stop there! Agile-curious people everywhere are invited to explore agile tools, ideas, and experiences.
4th Friday of the month
Hosted at the Nike Evergreen campus, the Westside Cafe is a chance for scrum masters, team leads, developers, and other agilists to share lunch and interesting, educational discussion on a new agile topic each month.
AgilePDX @ Puppet
3rd Wednesday of the month
Join the AgilePDX community at Puppet downtown for presentations and workshops led by leading agile thinkers and to network with agile-minded peers.
2nd Tuesday of the month
Hosted at Cayuse downtown, this event is a hands-on workshop in Mob Programming! Each month we’ll explore different methods for learning to mob well so that you can reap the rewards of this practice as soon as possible on your own teams.
AgilePDX Book Club
Usually takes places every 6-8 weeks
Hosted at different local pub locations, this event allows agile practitioners to join in a book discussion to share insights or debate practical applications. Books are picked via twitter polls and additional discussion continues in the Agilepdx “Reading” Slack channel.
Woman-focused but open to everyone, these daylong events follow the format of coderetreat.org, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design in an atmosphere of fun and collaboration.
